a delicate, slightly domed antique victorian era buttercup setting featuring a small old mine cut diamond that's FULL of sparkle. the setting's petals aren't uniform and if you examine the construction with magnification you'll be convinced that it may have started out with some asymmetry originally that's made more visible by time-earned patina.

this ring is recently back from the jeweler who tuned up the tips of the prongs
heavy time earned patina in the details of the setting
the gold is on the porous/pitted side, especially inside the band
no glaring chips or damage to the diamond, but it's very difficult to spot chips on antique cuts without symmetry
this is an antique ring and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
