an unusual, wonderful five stone diamond band with 18k white gold settings that are both whimsical and geometric. it's very likely from the 1930s and the design details nod to the art deco era
the diamonds are original to the ring and have fewer facets than a modern cut, and they're also darker stones, not full of sparkle and almost grey/brown.
it's a very special addition to a stack of bands, but would also be wonderful worn solo or stacked with a wide band
solid 14k yellow gold with 18k white gold overlay

this ring was loved and worn and has the wear patterns to prove it:
-the center stone has a chip/scratch, which is visible in careful lighting and/or with magnification or very good eyes
-softening to the design details of the 18k white gold settings, which were once crisp and distinct, but are now soft and organic
-sizing seam at the base of the band
-dulling to the surface texture
